Fire, Fire!

In various depictions of fire, Renaissance madrigalists like Thomas Morley and Philippe da Monte are contrasted with contemporary composers who have been similarly inspired. Recent settings by Morten Lauridsen and Mary Offer preface a world première setting of an ode from Sophocles’ Antigone by the St. Louis composer, Carter Datz.

Grace has a small parking lot off of Waterman with handicapped parking. It is right next to the handicapped entrance (glass doors), which leads directly to the elevator. Additional parking is available on the street and in a parking lot one block north of the church off of Skinker. There are bathrooms on every floor with handicapped stalls, and there are single stall bathrooms on the lower floor. The pews are cushioned, though some people bring their own pillows for additional comfort.
