Rebecca Hatlelid started singing when she joined the St. Louis Children’s Choirs at the age of nine. She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor’s in Music Education. During her time in school, she involved herself in the opera program and performed the roles of Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro and the Witch in Hansel and Gretel. After graduating summa cum laude, she taught musical theatre singing classes at COCA (Center of Creative Arts) in University City, and worked as a substitute teacher in numerous school districts throughout the St. Louis area. Rebecca has performed with Union Avenue Opera, Gateway Opera, Winter Opera St. Louis, and the St. Louis Symphony Chorus. She currently studies voice with Sarah Price.


Rebecca resides in St. Louis with her husband, Ralph and their daughter, Oswin.
