RENEE OLO

Administrative Manager

Renee grew up in Ottawa, Canada, and studied at the University of Toronto where she was also a choral scholar at Trinity College Chapel. She subsequently moved to Philadelphia to begin a PhD in Historical Musicology at the University of Pennsylvania. Her dissertation focuses on the importation of Italian-style salon culture into France in the early 16th century. While continuing her doctoral work, Renee has now moved to St. Louis where her partner is also studying (at Washington University) for a doctorate, and where Renee is a section leader in the choir of Third Baptist Church. In addition, she writes program notes for various ensembles in both Canada and St. Louis and undertakes administrative help for the Chamber Chorus.
