REJOICING IN HIS BIRTH
For many years on the Sunday before Christmas the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus has presented a concert dedicated to the seasonal music of an ethnic tradition, drawing full-house audiences to many different churches in the city. This disc is a compilation taken from five years of professional archival recordings of these holiday concerts offering a retrospective of repertoire, of the distinctive acoustics of the performance sites, and of the sound of the Chamber Chorus from season to season. The tracks on this CD are listed below. Welcome to Christmas with the Saint Louis Chamber Chorus!
